Warranty & Returns
At JB Picks, I put a lot of care into every pick I make. I want you to feel confident trying one out, so here’s my simple, straight‑shooting warranty and returns info — the same way I’d explain it if we were talking in person.
60‑Day Craftsmanship Warranty
If something is actually wrong with the pick — meaning a real manufacturing defect — I’ll make it right. That includes things like:
- Warping or delamination not caused by heat or misuse
- A material flaw that affects how the pick plays
- Edges or surfaces that weren’t shaped correctly
If that happens, I’ll replace the pick at no charge, including shipping.
30‑Day Returns
I offer 30‑day returns for situations like:
- You received the wrong item
- The pick has a confirmed defect
- There’s a material or craftsmanship issue that affects playability
If it’s a legitimate issue, I’ll take care of you.
Tone & Feel (Important but Friendly)
Tone is personal — your guitar, strings, amp, and playing style all shape it. So if a pick doesn’t sound the way you hoped, that’s not considered a defect and isn’t eligible for a return or warranty replacement.
But I’m not leaving you stuck.
If the pick is still in like‑new condition, I offer a one‑time courtesy exchange for a different model or thickness. Sometimes a small change makes a big difference in feel and tone.
Breakage Exchange (Maker’s Courtesy)
If your pick breaks during normal use within the first 30 days, I’ll send you a replacement — no charge. Picks shouldn’t snap or crack under regular playing, so if yours does, I want to make it right.
All I ask is:
- A quick photo of the broken pick
- Your order number
- A short note about what happened
I’ll get a new one headed your way.
What’s Not Covered
To keep things fair, here’s what isn’t covered under warranty or returns:
- Normal playing wear
- Damage from bending, dropping, or heat
- Picks that have been reshaped, sanded, or drilled
- Loss or theft
- Custom designs unless there’s a real defect
- Tone or feel preferences (covered by the courtesy exchange instead)
How to Reach Out
If you think you’ve got a defective pick or need help with an exchange, just send me an email at sales@jbpicks.com with the following:
- Your order number
- A photo of the issue
- A quick note about what’s going on
I’ll take a look and get you taken care of.
